Walking the Talk: Revolutionizing Workplace Wellness

  • The Omni King Edwards Hotel 37 King Street East Toronto, ON, M5C Canada (map)

Every week 500,000 Canadians miss work due to a mental health problem or illness, costing the Canadian economy close to $50 billion per year.

In celebration of the fifth anniversary of Canada’s home-grown workplace mental health Standard, join industry leaders as they reflect on how addressing mental health at work has changed their organizational culture for the better.

Introduced by Mental Health Commission of Canada President and CEO Louise Bradley, and moderated by CivicAction CEO, Sevaun Palvetzian, the panel will delve into how unlocking a mentally healthier workforce can boost the bottom line while enhancing recruitment, retention and organizational reputation.

CivicAction invites you to complete the free online MindsMatter/SoutienBienEtre assessment at or and assess how well your workplace supports mental health. You will receive a confidential email with three simple actions to better support your workers’ mental health, with links to additional resources.
